I can see where you are coming from, though I do understand Paul's point to a degree.

SEOs are quite good at churning out large volumes of dubious value content, and I think he was looking to form a relationship between the 2.

After all, we need content and they produce it - the problem is SEOs can get content far cheaper than a journalists rates of 'good enough' quality for the purposes its used for.

I suppose though, much like there are SEOs of dubious quality around, the same can be said for journalism standards at times!

I'm looking forward to the next one too - only a few weeks away! Seeya there!

Was a brilliant day. and i cant wait for the next. i found some comment quite intriuging. i was puzzled by something you said ''Paul’s thrust on this was that many journalists have lost their jobs in recent years because of the rise of the Internet'' maybe if they wernt compulsive liars it might have somthing to do with it???????????????

I wish I had seen this event it would have been great to go too. I must admit that after spending a few years in the game I am starting to swing towards Jamie Freemans view, the reason is I have many sites at or near the top of their niches with very few links pointing to them. The sites are there due to the three C's!
